Newcastle City Council's cabinet meets to make final decisions on library closures later. Over the weekend, protestors gathered outside Moorside Library in Newcastle, in the hope that councillors would find a way to keep it open.
They say the library is used by many. A representative from the council said they were looking into making it a community project and would keep it open if possible.
