Teachers, parents and cooks have been getting together on Tyneside to discuss the future of school dinners across the country.

The owner of the Leon restaurant chain in London is following in TV chef Jamie Oliver's footsteps and coming up with a new action plan.

The plan is being put together through events being held across the country - including one at a Newcastle school today.
