The models he chose are not the fastest - they travel up to eight miles an hour.
The specially modified mobility scooters that Robbie rides around the streets of London in his video were designed by a man here in our region. He took Lucy Taylor for a test drive.

A shop in Whitley Bay selling custom-made mobility scooters can now count Robbie Williams and Dizzee Rascal as customers.
The unusual machines are being featured in the new music video 'Goin Crazy.'
The shop - Travelability UK - began creating the 'pimped up' scooters five years ago, to lift customers' spirits.
