Police believe a body found in the River Tyne is that of missing Newcastle University student, Jason Fyles.
The body was recovered from the river near the Millennium Bridge yesterday afternoon, June 26.
19-year-old Jason was last seen in the Sandyford area of Newcastle after a night out on Thursday May 16th.
He moved to Tyneside nine months ago to study town planning. He was living at Newcastle University’s halls of residence at Bowsden Court in South Gosforth.

19-year-old Jason Fyles was last seen in the Sandyford area of the city after a night out on Thursday the 16th of May.
Jason is described as 5ft 9ins tall, of very slim build with a pale complexion and short ginger hair. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, grey jumper, beige chino trousers and brown leather shoes.

It's more than a week since the 19-year-old was last seen after disappearing after a night out with friends.
Police searching for a missing teenager have renewed their appeal to trace a man who helped him on the night of his disappearance.
Jason Fyles, 19, was last seen at an address on Helmsley Road in Sandyford, Newcastle over a week ago. Whilst on his way to visit friends after a night out in the city centre, he was given directions by a man at around 2:25am.

"We still need to speak to the man who helped Jason and I would urge him to contact us as soon as possible."
The man is described as being around 20 years old, 5ft 8" tall, of stocky build, with short light blond or ginger hair and a pale complexion.
Northumbria Police have released another picture of Newcastle University student Jason Fyles who went missing early on Thursday May 16.
They also want to contact a man who spoke to Jason the night he disappeared.
Superintendent Andy McDyer said: "We know that Jason spoke to this man before going into his friends' house and we believe that he may have information that would help us to understand Jason's state of mind at the time.
"This was not the last sighting of Jason, but speaking to him will help us to build a picture of Jason's movements before he went missing.
"We are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace Jason's whereabouts and we are appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen him since last Thursday to contact us."
Police searching for Jason Fyles would like a man he spoke to on the night he went missing to get in touch.
Jason, 19, was last seen at an address in Sandyford, Newcastle, at 2.45am on Thursday May 16.
He spoke to the man, who helped him find his way to his friends' house, on Helmsley Road at 2.25 am
The family of a missing student from Newcastle University are appealing for him to get in contact with them so that they can make sure he is safe.
