Hundreds of children from across the region have been toddling in the sunshine today to raise money for charity.
The Big Toddle is a sponsored fancy dress walk around Gateshead's Saltwell Park in aid of Barnardo's which supports projects for children.

Hundreds of little princesses and pirates have been toddling in the sunshine this morning to raise money for charity.
The Big Toddle is a sponsored fancy dress walk around Gateshead's Saltwell Park in aid of Barnardo's - which supports projects for children.
The annual event is in its 17th year and encourages people from all backgrounds to enjoy a walk and a picnic together.
Around 400 toddlers turned out at Saltwell Park in Gateshead for the annual Big Toddle which raises money for charity.
The sponsored walk is in its 17th year and supports Barnardo's.
Parents and children taking part enjoyed dressing up in the fancy dress theme of fairy tale characters.
Organiser Angela Robinson said:
" It's a fantastic event which provides a great day out for under 5s, mums and dads, carers and play groups. 25% of the money raised goes back into local projects and it's good to see that even in tough economic times, turnout is good. And the weather is perfect!'
400 children are estimated to be taking take part in a fund raising toddle round Saltwell Park in Gateshead.
It's been organised by the children's Barnardo's North East.
