A growing number of people are turning to pay-day and short-term loans.
The companies who lend the money say they are providing a valuable and responsible service.
There are concerns, though, that borrowers can fall into a cycle of debt.
On the day that MPs have debated the subject in parliament, we look at the issue in tonight's edition of Around The House.
