Abi Alton: X Factor was "difficult"

Abi Alton, from Guisborough in North Yorkshire, has spoken out after her eviction from The X Factor.

Speaking on ITV's Daybreak this morning, she said the experience had been "difficult".

"I learnt loads of stuff and met so many interesting people", she added. Looking ahead, she said the contest was "anyone's game".

Fans support Abi Alton after hospital dash

Abi Alton, from Guisborough, was taken to hospital after The X Factor on Sunday October 21. Her fans have taken to Twitter to show her they are supporting her.

Alton family thank Abi's fans

A friend of Abi Alton has tweeted a message from the Alton family. In it, Abi's parents, Paul and Sharon, thank fans for voting for their daughter and showing concern when she was taken to hospital.

The message reads:

"Thank you all for your kind words and support, it means so much to us. Abi was a superstar as always...thank you all so much for voting. Thanks also for your concerns about Abi and her trip to hospital - thankfully she is well, no damage done - hey the kid from Teesside and made of strong stuff!!"
