The former Sunderland footballer Stephane Sessegnon has been banned from driving for 20 months, after pleading guilty to drink driving, and driving without a full UK licence or insurance.

The striker, who now plays for West Brom, was pulled over in August, at the same time as his teammates on Wearside were playing in the League Cup.

He was found to be twice the legal alcohol limit.
