A 25-year-old nursery worker has pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of a three-year-old girl who died at a playground in York. Sophee Redhead was employed at the York College nursery.
Lydia Bishop died there when she became entangled in a rope in September last year. Redhead is jointly charged with York Council, which faces two charges of breaching health and safety laws, which it also denies. Their trial is due to take place in January.
