A man appeared in court today charged with the murder of a 25 year old man in Darlington.
Alan Youngson vanished from his home in the town two months ago.
Today, 28 year old Daniel Dodsworth appeared before magistrates in Peterlee.

A man has this morning appeared before Peterlee magistrates court charged with the murder of Alan Youngson from Darlington.
Daniel Dodsworth aged 28 from Branksome Green in Darlington was remanded to appear at Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday 16th October.
Four other men who had been arrested on Friday have all been bailed until December pending further enquiries.
A 22 year old woman from York and a 30 year old man from the North Road area of Darlington were arrested yesterday on suspicion of assisting an offender and have also been bailed until December pending further enquiries.A post mortem examination concluded that Mr Youngson died from head injuries.
