Police comment on Newcastle burglary

Neighbourhood Inspector for the Fenham area, Mark Farrimond, said:

"Burglary is a devastating experience for a householder who has to live with the fact someone has invaded their personal space and privacy, not to mention the financial implications it also has.

"Police were on the scene quickly and arrested the men who were hiding in nearby gardens.

"We continue to work hard to prevent burglaries from taking place and to target and take action against those people involved in such crimes and have them brought before the courts."
