A three-year-old boy killed in an alleged hit and run in Darlington was on his way back from getting a Christmas catalogue so he could choose his presents.
Danny Wake was run over on the corner of Neasham Road on Monday, November 4. He was walking home from the town centre with his mother and younger brother Georgie.
A 24-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, was released without charge last night.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Police are continuing to question a man after a three-year-old boy died following an apparent hit and run in Darlington.
It happened yesterday morning, at about 10:30am. An area near Neasham Road was cordoned off.
Durham Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

"We are appealing to members of the public to help us establish the events leading to the collision.
