Police are appealing for information after a biker was killed in a collision on the A59 near Harrogate.

Traffic Constable Sean Grey, from North Yorkshire Police, said:

“I know that there was a lot of traffic in the area at the time of the collision and I am urging the occupants of the cars to come forward straight away as they may have vital information which could help my enquiries.”

Police investigate Harrogate biker death

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash on the A59 near Harrogate.

The 25-year-old male, from Harrogate, was riding a black Triumph Daytona when he collided with a gold Honda CRV approximately five miles out of Harrogate, near the entrance of High Moor Farm Caravan Park at around 5:10pm on February 9.

The biker was taken to Harrogate District Hospital and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
