The lower jaw bone of a forty five foot long whale which beached at Redcar has been put on display.
The bone, complete with teeth, was unveiled at the Zetland Lifeboat Museum today (March 27). The thirty five tonne mammal died, despite efforts to save it in May 2011.
Fred Brunskill, from the Zetland Lifeboat Museum says it was a rare incident.
