Two days since 92-year-old man went missing in Corbridge

Police investigating the disappearance of a 92-year-old man in Corbridge, Northumberland, have asked the public for information about his daily routine and places he often visits, to give them clues about where he might be.

Thomas Diggle was last seen on Thursday at his home in Abbeyfield House, Market Place.

It has now been two days since Mr Diggle was last seen, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"He is an elderly man, and given the current weather conditions it is concerning. We know he can't walk that far and walks with a stoop and we believe he had a walking stick with him. He may have been wearing a flat cap and dark coloured long wool coat.

"Extensive enquiries are being carried out to trace him, if anyone has seen him or knows where he is we would urge them to get in contact with us.

"Likewise, we would like to hear from anyone who knows him and can help us with information about his daily routine or the places he often visits. Any information could prove crucial in helping us find him."
