A girl, aged 14, who was hit by a car in County Durham, was treated at the scene by a doctor led trauma team from the Great North Air Ambulance, before being flown to a hospital.
She had serious head injuries.

The crash happened at Fir Tree, near Crook, at 3.30pm on Good Friday.
The girl was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with injuries described as "critical".
