Investigations are continuing into what caused the ceiling to collapse at a hairdressing salon in Sunderland yesterday (April 25).
It happened at Hair Philosophy in Pallion.
All seven staff and customers managed to get out without serious injury, although one person was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Ambulance services say staff and clients at a hair salon had a lucky escape after the ceiling caved in at a hairdressing salon in Sunderland today (April 25).
One person has been taken to Sunderland Royal hospital as a precaution, but the North East Ambulance service says the victim's injuries were minor and they were just being checked over.
The NEAS says seven people were inside the Hair Philosophy salon in St Luke's Terrace in Pallion.
It says the remaining six people inside managed to safely evacuate from the building.
Its hazardous response team was dispatched, but has now been stood down.
