The epic day-long folk music event finished at 10am this morning, in Gateshead, to much celebration. Kat Davidson is an organiser and musician:
A mammoth folk music session, which lasted a full 24 hours, finished at Gateshead's old town hall this morning. Musicians from the North East - and around the country - participated. The event is part of The Sage's 10 year anniversary and fundraising celebrations.
A group of folk musicians from across the country have finished a 24 hour music marathon.
They started at 10am yesterday at the Sage in Gateshead before moving to Gateshead Old Town Hall at 10pm to play non-stop through the night.
Our reporter was there to see them finally play the last note.
