Hundreds have joined celebrations on Teesside to mark Nagar Kirtan.
In Middlesbrough there was a procession through the town.
Many people wore blue or orange which are the holy sacred colours of Sikhism.
Hundreds of Sikhs have been gathering on Teesside this morning (Sunday 20th July) for a religious festival (the North East Nagar Kirtan).
They are marking the 358th Parkash Gurpurb (or birth) of their 8th Guru, Sri Guru Harkrishan Shaib Ji.
The Nagar Kirtan involves Sikhs from across the UK taking their faith to the streets of local towns and cities in a colourful celebration.
