The X Factor live finals will be taking place next week, where 12 acts will be battling it out to win this year's show.
After weeks of auditions, the final three boys and over-25s have been revealed in tonight's X Factor.
The hopefuls who made it to the judges houses stage of The X Factor have been revealed and the 24 are bidding for a place in the last 12.
Abi Alton has told ITV News Tyne Tees she was "amazed" by the level of support she received from the region.
Abi Alton, from Guisborough in North Yorkshire, has praised her X Factor mentor Nicole Scherzinger. "Nicole's great, she really cares about us and wants us to do well", she told ITV News Tyne Tees. "I'll definitely keep in touch with Nicole", she added.
Abi Alton, who was evicted from The X Factor last Sunday, has thanked the people of the North East for supporting her. "I wasn't surprised by it but I was amazed and very humbled by it", she told ITV News Tyne Tees.

Speaking on ITV's Daybreak this morning, she said the experience had been "difficult".
"I learnt loads of stuff and met so many interesting people", she added. Looking ahead, she said the contest was "anyone's game".

A friend of Abi Alton has tweeted a message from the Alton family. In it, Abi's parents, Paul and Sharon, thank fans for voting for their daughter and showing concern when she was taken to hospital.
The message reads:
"Thank you all for your kind words and support, it means so much to us. Abi was a superstar as always...thank you all so much for voting. Thanks also for your concerns about Abi and her trip to hospital - thankfully she is well, no damage done - hey the kid from Teesside and made of strong stuff!!"
Abi Alton made it through to next week's show. The X Factor contestant performed Kylie Minogue's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' as part of 'Love and Heartbreak' week.
