Woman in wheelchair hit by car in York
Police in York are appealing for a driver to come forward after a woman in a wheelchair was hit by a car. The woman was carrying a small child. A car reversed into her outside the Co-op store in Haxby on 11th February. Officers say there was a man and woman in the car.
– PC Vince Maltby, North Yorkshire Police“I am urging the driver of the car to come forward and contact the police before we contact you. It is an offence to fail to stop at the scene of a collision and you are only making things worse for yourself by not coming forward.”
