Jubilee celebrations are continuing in Ripon as pupils from schools across the city compete in go-karting races.
It's one of a number of events taking place at the market square for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The bunting will be out again today with dozens more street parties planned to mark the Jubilee. Over the weekend thousands of people dressed up and baked cakes to celebrate the occasion.
Gateshead Scouts celebrated the Queen's Jubilee by creating the world's largest neckerchief. It's made of 500 individual neckerchiefs from members across the town, with some signed by famous figures including David Cameron. At 20.1m, it's broken the previous world record of 16m.
The regions Sea Cadets are returning home after takingpart in the Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the Thames. They escorted the Queen'sRoyal barge Gloriana in the largest flotilla seen on the river in 300 years.
The largest flotilla to sail in Britain for three hundred years sailed down the Thames as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations this afternoon, with our region well represented. Boats from all over the North East, Cumbria and Southern Scotland were paraded before the Queen
Those celebrations have seen the bunting out across the region, as thousands of people baked cakes and put on their Sunday best to take part in street paties. The festivities stretched from Carlisle to Darlington and beyond.
