A memorial service for PC David Rathband is set to take place this weekend.
The police officer, who was shot and blinded by gunman Raoul Moat, was found dead at his home in Blyth, Northumberland last week. He will be mourned at St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle.
The ceremony has been organised by the officer’s twin bother, Darren. His family have been invited, along with a host of politicians and senior dignitaries.

Veteran striker Craig Bellamy will lead Wales in Wednesday's Gary Speed Memorial Match against Costa Rica, which could be his final appearance for his country.
The 32-year-old Liverpool forward, who was close to late manager Speed, will be handed the captaincy role after regular skipper Aaron Ramsey was ruled out with an ankle injury.
