Police are appealing to trace the whereabouts of two sisters who were reported missing from the Hartlepool area on Saturday 30th June.
Police searching for a missing Nottinghamshire man have turned their search to the North Yorkshire coast.
Steven Robert Thomas, 53, was reported missing from his home in Worksop, on Monday 27th August 2012.
Nottinghamshire Police say there are concerns about Mr Thomas’s welfare and his state of mind following two recent bereavements.
It is believed he may be in the Scarborough area of North Yorkshire, but so far there have been no confirmed sightings of him despite extensive local enquiries.
Mr Thomas is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of large build and with very short, receding hair. He wears glasses, but it is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
Anyone with information as to Mr Thomas’s whereabouts is asked to telephone Nottinghamshire Police on 101.

Police say 34-year-old Aaron Marshall, who also uses the name Aaron Kielty, was last seen at around 7.30am on Friday 3rd August at his home address at Camsell Court in Middlesbrough. He was reported missing on Saturday 4th August.
Aaron is described as around 5ft 7” tall, of slim build with a fair complexion, dark hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing when he went missing. He has the word “Adelade” tattooed on his neck and has two tattoos on one of his arms, one is of a devil and one of a chameleon.
Police are concerned due to the length of time that he has been missing and believe that he could be in either the Cleveland or Manchester areas.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen Aaron since Friday 3rd August, or ask anyone with information to call Cleveland Police on 101.
It has been confirmed that a body found in the centre of Newcastle is the missing teenager Kelvin Bradley.
He hadn't been seen since a night out in the city last Saturday.
Police say the eighteen year old had an accident after separating from his friends. Kelvin's family say he will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Police have confirmed that a body found on Thursday in Newcastle is that of missing teenager Kelvin Bradley.
The 18 year old, from Ferryhill in County Durham, was last seen in the city on Saturday night. His body was found in a service area at the back of Eldon Square shopping centre.

Police searching for a teenager who's been missing since the weekend have today been carrying out an extensive search of Leazes Park in Newcastle.
They also say they want to trace two girls Kelvin Bradley was last seen walking with before he vanished.
Kelvin who's 18 had been on a night out in the city. His family in Ferryhill say they love him and they want him to come home.
