There are to be major line closures on North Tyneside as track replacement work takes place.
It'll mean the lines between Benton and Monkseaton will be closed for 15 days from the 23rd July (Saturday) to the 6th of August (Saturday)
Stations including Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay will stay open this time, after work was completed there earlier in the year.
There will be a frequent replacement bus service in operation during the closure for all passengers who would otherwise use the Metro between Benton and Monkseaton.
