Newcastle United have been fined £20,000 and Norwich £30,000 following an FA charge of misconduct during a match in January.
Both clubs were charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.
Newcastle admitted the charge and accepted the standard penalty of £20,000, which includes a third-off for admitting.
Norwich, who had a similar breach earlier this season denied the charge which was subsequently found proven and were fined £30,000.
Both clubs were warned as to their future conduct.
Jonas Gutierrez could be reunited with former Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton as speculation mounts that he's heading to Norwich. The 30-year-old Argentinian midfielder effectively took his leave of the Magpies over the weekend when he posted a series of messages on Twitter.
Norwich City manager Chris Hughton says he expects Newcastle United to start climbing the Premier League table once their injured players return to action.
The Magpies have been without a host of key stars in recent months and have slipped to 15th in their absence, but many of them could be back playing over the coming weeks.
Hughton's side welcome Newcastle to Carrow Road this Saturday. Speaking ahead of the match, he said: "We know it's not one of the better periods for Newcastle, but we know what quality that they have in the squad. We know they're capable of winning any game."
He added: "Most people expect that once they get their bigger players and some of the injuries back that they'll start climbing up the league."
