A pilot and his passenger, killed in a plane crash on the Sandringham Estate, are believed to be from Gateshead.
A piper light aircraft came down on Marshland near Wolferton, in West Norfolk, on Monday. The two onboard have been named locally as 58-year-old Nigel Dodds and Val Barnes who was in her 70s. An air crash investigation has started.
A team of inspectors from the Air Accidents Investigation Branch have been investigating at the scene and the wreckage was due to be removed yesterday for further tests to take place.
