Joe McElderry's fourth album goes on sale today. The South Shields star has written many of the songs on 'Here's What I Believe". Joe won the X factor in 2009 and then ITV's Popstar to Operastar in 2011.

George Michael has announced Newcastle will make up one of the dates of his tour when he returns to the stage later this year.

The star had to cancel around a third of concerts last year after being admitted to hospital in Vienna with pneumonia.
