The A19 Northbound in County Durham is blocked.

There is stationary traffic after a multi-vehicle crash involving two cars and a lorry.

There is debris on the road between A67 at Crathorne and A174 Parkway near Thornaby-on-Tees.

Closed since 7AM on the main Thirsk to Middlesbrough road. There is also a Southbound lane closure.

As a result there is heavy congestion on surrounding roads around Yarm and High Leven.

Ongoing until lunchtime at least.

Driver can expect heavy traffic after a crash involving 4 vehicles after A1068 Fisher Lane near the Seaton Burn Roundabout.

Police are at the scene.
