Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole 27 bottles of champagne and wine from a garage in Wylam in Northumberland.
The theft happened overnight between Boxing Day and 27 December.
Thieves broke into five garages in Stephenson Terrace but only stole from one. They forced open the garage door and stole 12 bottles of Moet and Chandon champagne, 12 bottles of red wine and three bottles of assorted wine.
Anyone with information about these offences, or anyone who is offered this stolen alcohol for sale, should call police on 101, quoting reference number 373 of 27/10/16 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A replica of one of the world's very first steam trains has returned to the village in Northumberland where it was built.
Two centuries after Wylam was at the forefront of the railway revolution, the village is gearing up to celebrate its pioneering past.

The Environment Agency is continuing to monitor river levels after Saturday's heavy rainfall. Rivers like the Tyne at Wylam Bridge were running very high after the weekend downpour which saw some flooding and roads closed.
