Middlesbrough have signed Wolves midfielder Adam Hammill on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old joined the Premier League side from Barnsley in January 2011, but has made just three league starts this campaign.
Boro boss Tony Mowbray said: “He’s a young guy with a pretty impressive reputation at Barnsley.
“He’ll be different to what we’ve got. He likes to travel with the ball. He likes to dribble past people. He can score goals, he can create goals. He’s an all-round decent footballer and hopefully he can make a good impact.”
Hammill could make his Middlesbrough debut away to Portsmouth on Saturday.
