1700 properties in the North East and Yorkshire are still without power after arctic weather hit the region.
The areas still affected are in the North Yorkshire Moors and parts of County Durham, where work to restore power is now being focussed.
A spotter helicopter has been deployed to help locate damaged overhead power lines and engineers are onsite.
