Care home worker facing neglect charge
York police have charged a care home worker with the assault and neglect of an elderly woman in her care.
The 54-year-old woman is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court in May charged with assault by beating and wilfully neglecting a person without capacity.
The victim is 85 and lives in the Lodge care home in Heslington.
