As celebrations take place to remember William Shakespeare's birthday, a lifesize sculpture is unveiled in Newcastle. The bronze Mercutio was commissioned by the Theatre Royal as part of it's 175 anniversary.
A poll was conducted last year to find the north east's favorite Shakespearean character. Mercutio came out on top for his role in Romeo & Juliet.
