Relatives: Loss is "almost unthinkable"

Relatives of the family who died in a collision in County Durham have paid a special tribute to the three generations. Robert Reed, Natalie Simpson and Natalie's daughter, 14-month-old Destiny Reed, were killed when their car collided with a lorry in Seaton on Wednesday.

“No words can describe how we are struggling to come to terms with our enormous loss. To lose three members of an extended family in one day, including a beautiful baby girl and her young mother who had their whole lives ahead of them, is almost unthinkable."

Margaret Reed was also in the car and is still receiving treatment at James Cook Hospital.
