Eleisha Jane Mitchinson from Sunderland is not even ten-years-old and she is already a karate champion. She has just won three gold medals and a bronze at the English Karate Federation National Championships.
Eleisha's father runs karate clubs in Sunderland and Tyneside. In the Sheffield competition, Eleisha won an individual gold and two team golds with her eight & nine-year-old friends. She also won a team bronze.
The club won six golds which is more than any other club.
