Coldplay fans beat strike
Train drivers at the Tyne and Wear Metro have returned to work following yesterday's strike over pay. Action was timed to coincide with a concert at Sunderland's Stadium of Light.
Thousands of fans were relying on the rail service to take them to and from the Coldplay gig, but had to find alternative transport or queue for free buses.
