Police are looking for an 88-year-old man who has now been missing for five days. Alexander Cromar was last seen leaving his home in Concorde Way in Jarrow, South Tyneside on Sunday.
"We're now becoming increasingly concerned for Mr Alexander's welfare as it's almost five days since he was last seen. We know he suffers from Alzheimer's disease and it may be he has become confused."
