Fans watch England knocked out of Euro 2012
Hundreds of fans gathered in Newcastle city centre to watch Italy knock England out of Euro 2012. Darkness fell over crowds at the big screen by the city's Monument, as the game went first to 30 minutes of extra time and then to a penalty shoot-out.
