Community health workers in Northumberland have gone on strike over a dispute with the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust.
Community nurses, midwives and occupational therapists are walking out for half a day to demonstrate outside a trust meeting at Hexham Hospital. The action comes after disagreements on terms regarding mileage allowances and lease cars.
