Soldiers from the Yorkshire Regiment (1st Battalion) will exercise their Freedom of Harrogate at the opening of the Great Yorkshire Show. They recently arrived back from a tour of Afghanistan.
The annual show is going ahead despite the wet weather. More than 130,000 people are expected to turn out.
