Man in court on murdered businesswoman fraud charges

A man will appear in court in London later charged with fraud, in connection with the murdered businesswoman Carole Waugh from County Durham.

Nicholas David Kutner, 47, of no fixed abode, is accused of pretending to be Chris Waugh, her brother, who lives in Penrith, in an attempt to sell her London home.

He also faces two charges relating to renting her property at Tressard Court and a fourth of unlawfully withdrawing funds from her account.

Ms Waugh's body was found on Thursday night in a car at a lock-up garage in the London suburb of New Malden. She'd not been seen by her family since April.
