Morpeth Harrier Laura Weightman says she loved the experience of her first major international final, after finishing in 11th place in the 1500m.
Speaking on BBC Sport after the race, the 21 year old runner from Alnwick thanked her supporters and her coach, Steve Cram, and said the crowd at the Olympic Park "were brilliant".
Already looking ahead, Laura added, "I really believe there's a lot more from me in the future, and this is a good platform to push me on now."
