The suspended Chief Constable of Cleveland Police and his deputy are both facing internal hearings into allegations of gross misconduct which include the misuse of public funds.
The force's Deputy Derek Bonnard has announced that he no longer faces any further action from the criminal side of the investigation which is being lead by Warwickshire Police. The force has confirmed that Mr Bonnard's bail has now been cancelled.
