The funeral has taken place of the darts commentator Sid Waddell. He was born in Ashington in Northumberland and started his TV career on Tyne Tees Television.
He died earlier this month of cancer aged 72. Mourners at the service in Leeds have paid tribute to his eloquence and called him a colossus of his trade.
