Middlesbrough has some of the highest levels of deprivation

A new report has revealed that one in three children in the North East is living in poverty. Save the Children says 2,000 youngsters here often go a full day without hot food, with parents forced to cut back on meals to feed their children.

On Teesside, Middlesbrough has some of the highest levels of deprivation.
