Newcastle University has paid tribute to a student who was killed in a road crash in Morocco whilst on holiday.
Pippa Darlington and her sister Tara were killed in a horror smash yesterday near the Morrocan town of Rabat.
– Professor Chris Rodgers, Head of Newcastle Law School at Newcastle UniversityEveryone is shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the death of one of our students, Pippa Darlington, and our thoughts and condolences go out to her parents and family. Pippa was about to enter the final year of her studies at Newcastle for her LLB Law Degree. She was a gifted student with a bright future ahead of her and was very popular with both staff and students in the School. She will be sadly missed by us all.
The University says any student who has been affected by this tragedy and feels that they need someone to speak to, will be offered support through the Student Wellbeing Services.
