Man pleads not guilty to murder of his parents

A man from Seaham in County Durham has pleaded not guilty to the murder of his mother and father. Stephen Seddon is accused of killing Robert and Patricia Seddon at their home in Sale in Greater Manchester. A post-mortem examination showed both died of gunshot wounds.

Seddon appeared at Manchester Crown Court by videolink and spoke only to confirm his name and enter his not guilty pleas. He was remanded into custody and will appear in court again in November.
