A Newcastle University professor has appeared in court charged with vandalising cars. Words like 'silly', 'really wrong' and 'arbitrary' were scratched on to 24 cars in Jesmond, in Newcastle, with a screwdriver one night in August.
47-year-old Stephen Graham faces four charges of causing criminal damage. He didn't enter a plea at Newcastle Magistrates court and was given unconditional bailed to reappear at court next month.
