Thirteen arrests have been made at a protest in Sunderland where 200 people turned out to campaign both for and against a mosque being built in Millfield. This video is from Spark Sunderland.
The protest was planned and despite promises of peaceful demonstrations, the police made arrests on both sides. Officers described the violence at the protest as disappointing.
